can I remove a specific song from an iPod nano
I have this original iPod Nano. It contains many songs some of which I would like to remove. Is it possible to remove specific songs without losing other songs? If so, how?

Remove those songs from the list of items in iTunes set to sync with the iPod, and then sync it. If you're syncing it manually, select the iPod in the iTunes sidebar, find that music, and press Delete.
There is no way to do that from the device itself.
